The Lost Month

Hey all,
The computer was in the shop for the better half of two months and May was wiped off the slate. While you were away I have been featured on the National Lampoon Country Contdown, introducing clips of Jeff Foxworthy, Larry The Cable Guy, and of course my own brand of frivolity. My episode has run a couple of different times, so you know I be funny!! We are also full swing into the film "Some Foreign War" (see deatails below),which I am acting in and serving as an associate producer and overall best boy!! Don't forget the big wine tasting, comedy and fund raising soiree August 27th, in lovely Pasadena. E-mail me for details: onefunnyguyj@aol.com I'll be shooting all of July and then on tour in August. Schedule below. Enjoy the HOT, HOT summer.

Independent Film Some Foreign War update:
This July, Jay will be starring in and helping to produce the independent film Some Foreign War. Some Foreign War is a science fiction story about people who band together when they discover they are all participants in the same high-level government experiment that has gone wrong. Written and directed in the tradition and style of the X-files, it is an exciting Sci -Fi thriller that will be sure to grab the critics and film festival producers attention. The Special effects will be awesome with one of the editors of Miami CSI providing the SFX. If you are interested in contributing to the film please read the prospectus below! See ya at the premiere!!!

PURPOSE: To gain return for our investors, entry to film festivals with the goals of industry notice and acquisition, and continued work for us within the entertainment industry.

PROPOSED SCHEDULE: We will begin filming in late June 2006. Filming will take place primarily on weekends, and some evenings as required. Proposed completion of filming will be no later than December 2006, with editing completed by June 2007.

PROPOSED INVESTMENT GOAL: $5,000-$10,000. We plan to acquire funding for this film from outside sources. Funding is needed to cover the expenses of licenses and location fees, food for cast and crew, any necessary overnight accommodations, fees for props, costumes and equipment rental as needed (we already have most of the primary equipment such as cameras, mics, and editing equipment) and payment to the cast and crew (if union). Finally, this amount also incorporates necessary fees for completing press kits and entry fees required for entrance into film competitions.

YOUR RETURN:
Investors/backers contributing amounts from $500-$1,000 will receive credit as an associate producer, as well as a 1% return on any profits after expenses and initial investments are repaid. Your investment may also entitle you to invitations to special screenings at any film festivals we are admitted to, and attendance at corresponding events.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO HELP:
- Provide a secure location (for use of six hours or more) such as a house, restaurant/bar or outdoor property.

- Provide contact information for available production assistants, editors, special effects professionals or anyone else who would be willing to donate their time/services or work for a nominal fee.

You will receive periodic updates on the progress of the film.
